Between 1966 and 1982, Rio Pinar hosted Professional Golf Tour events including the men’s Florida Citrus Open and the women's Orlando Ladies Classic. The men’s version would eventually come to be known as the Arnold Palmer Invitational PGA Tour golf tournament at The Bay Hill Club.

Here, among towering Florida pines, Arnold Palmer, Julius Boros, Lee Trevino, Hale Irwin, Jerry Heard, Ken Still, Gary Koch, Patty Sheehan and Beth Daniel succeeded as champions of this major tournament.

Continuing our heritage of great golf we currently host the Hooter’s Golf Tour, UCF Intercollegiate golf tournament, Florida Women’s Open, FSGA State Qualifying Championship, and a USGA Qualifier.

Our diverse calendar of events includes functions such as Tuesday Night Scrambles, Twilight Golf, Quarterly Saturday Mixer, Casino Night, Mother’s Day Brunches, Christmas Dances, Easter Brunch, Family Movie Night, and many more.

In addition to golf we also offer tennis league play on many skill levels with professional lesson and clinics available.

Membership privileges include access and utilization of the exclusive Citrus Club of Orlando, featuring fine dining.
